  • yumyumyum.
  • I have had it delivered many times. Always very tasty; my favorite is the one with barbecue sauce: the wrangler/rustler (mock dock version is just as good as the chicken). I've only eaten there a few times... good ambiance, but service can be slow and spotty. On one recent trip, our server was very friendly and attentive, but on two occasions we stood at the host stand waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes (with various waitstaff walking around and not even acknowledging us) so we left. • It’s difficult to survive modern life without pizza....
  • Firstly, it’s difficult to survive modern life without pizza. Give into it!!! One of my west coast friends was shocked when she tried a slice of the Garlic Mashed Potato pizza at Pizza Luce in Uptown - like nothing she had ever had, and it was so very good. Amazing texture. Bright, tart feta with tender…potatoes? Potatoes that contribute an earthiness that rounds off the brightness of the feta and the fresh, chopped tomatoes. Simply amazing. I succumbed to the temptation of their free delivery policy many times. Their pizzas are unconventional, and so delicious. • Half-and-half pizzas may have just saved my marriage...
  • Widely-available, the endless varieties and styles make pizza crucial to our eating out (and eating in) rotation. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in terms of equal eating opportunities for vegetarians, Pizza Luce in Minneapolis, not only has plenty of meat-free pizzas and pastas, but almost everything on the menus has a vegetarian, if not vegan, alternative. Multiple vegan options, clearly marked as such, let you know that a restaurant knows what it is talking about. • Pizza and Beer - A Match Made in Heaven
  • Tonight was my first Pizza Luce experience of spring. Round these parts (Uptown) a major rite of passage come spring is to walk down to Luce and indulge in a few rounds of refreshing libations followed by an always delectable pizza. In years past my pre-pizza patio drink of choice was wine. A rose from spain, an oaky chilean chardonnay....I didn't think a more satisfying drink could be found to enjoy with a warm breeze and an inviting patio. Tonight I switched gears....wine was out I was having beer. Since we ordered "The Luce" pie with banana peppers, I figured I better pick out a crisp refreshing number. I settled in on the Surly Furious. The pairing was spot on, the spicy hop heavy brew melded perfectly with the sweet tang of the banana peppers. I guess I shouldn't be so suprised, it isn't exactly an epiphany to think that the time honored pairing of beer and pizza would work. Next time you stop by Pizza Luce...order up a Surly Furious and a "Luce" with banana peppers...I think you'll be delighted, I know I was. By ryanol | ConstantlyComplaining.com blog
  • Pizza Luce St. Paul - now with weekend brunch!
  • The weekend brunch at this Pizza Luce location rocks my world. $1 mimosas! Tofu scramble! English muffins! Spicy hash browns! Coffee! It's perfect. It's also large-group friendly. - Maam on Aug. 26, '07 at 12:33 PM | Vita.min
  • Pizza is always a good bet here, but...
  • try the meatball hoagie. It's got a generous portion of meatballs, marinara, cheese, and onions, all toasted together in one happy little sandwich. - Vita.min
  • Home sweet home.
  • Home in Minneapolis. I missed my flight and overpacked (brought every book I needed for my thesis), but all is well. Saw the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Walker(oh my gosh, can you believe us uncultured Minnesotans stood in line for half an hour just to see it?) Had yummy vegan pizza for dinner at Pizza Luce. Why is that chain not in NYC I ask you? Someone else needs to start putting mock duck on pizza, most amazing food ever. Watched Planet Terror and Ocean's 13 with my bro and his girlfriend, who did my hair and did an amazing job. - Blog shescreamed.livejournal.com
  • Laziness.
  • Yesterday I did the ultimate lazy dinner. I paid Pizza Luce to make spaghetti and deliver it to my doorstep. I know... Spaghetti is so easy! Why not just cook it myself?!
Because I was too tired and didn't want to have to DO anything. And because Pizza Luce's Spaghetti with "Veggie Balls" is so insanely good. (The name veggie balls, though, is so awkward that I can barely bring myself to say it when I order). - Blog http://foodsnobberyhobbery.blogspot.com
  • All in all, it was a great night.
  • After that we decided to go get some pizza at Pizza Luce.  That is by far the best pizza I have ever had.  As my friend Lance says, “It’s an institution.”  When we got back to my place, we decided to play Halo 3 online and we all proceeded to get stomped by all the 12 yr olds that spend all their free time on there and now know every board “better than they know their own neighborhood.” - Blog http://blog.jpesfiss.com
  • Pizza Spot
  • We made it to Duluth, Minnesota with just enough time to get some food and get set up. The show was at a place called Pizza Luce, which is an actual pizza spot. When I walked in they were setting up the stage and ten feet away some dude is flipping dough in the air. It was dope though; they cleared out all the tables and chairs and turned the restaurant into a club. - Blog http://illerthantheirs.blogspot.com
